PASTORAL CARE Pastoral Care in CTS is the ethos through which our learners develop and learn to their  optimum potential. We provide the opportunity for all learners to develop into responsible,  self-aware, confident, and capable young people equipped to cope with the challenges of  the 21st century. CTS believes Pastoral Care must form the basis of, and permeate, all aspects of the  curriculum. We have a dedicated member of staff who takes responsibility for monitoring attendance,  punctuality and progress. She also offers individual support to each learner, providing  guidance and celebrating success. Our Child Protection Officer has the responsibility for supporting and encouraging the  academic and pastoral development of all learners. In CTS we adopt an ‘open door’ policy  where learners always have someone to talk to.   Mr Richard Thornton (C.E.) is our designated Child Protection Officer and Miss Eileen  McGee is our Deputy Child Protection Officer.  Our full child protection policy is available  by contacting CTS Ltd.
